Announcement: Foodzilla's fabulous new diet

Restaurant:
The Get Mo' corner store
Food description: Food that can be consumed through a straw, requires no teeth, and eases horse pill consumption
Food rating: It is what it is

To eat properly, and to run a food blog, one must have teeth, no? Well after just having my pesky wisdom teeth taken out, today I start my new 5-star diet consisting of hearty processed food and delicious liquid consumables procured from the friendly ghetto corner store. The real pain of this whole ordeal is hardly physical. The sheer deprivation from food, my raison d'etre, is enough to drive me loco (though the Vicodin makes for a nice distraction). So in my next few days of absentia from real food, I'll be fantasizing about steaks and chocolate mousse, while living jealously and vicariously through the foodventures of my fellow I Food U Food bloggers FoodKong and Cathy.

Announcement: I Food U Food receives honorary mention

We're pleased to announce that last Sunday, I Food U Food received the "Bay Area Blogger of the Week" honorary mention from food blog extraordinaire Becks & Posh. We're extremely excited to be recognized by one of the top food blogs of San Francisco, especially after launching less than a month ago. It is this type of acknowledgment that keeps us passionate about continuing to provide the type of food content we feel has been missing from the web.

Announcement: The Beginning

Until our website is up, we'll be posting our dish reviews to this blog! We don't whine about service, ambience, or price, we just talk about straight food. It's amazing how major sites like Citysearch and Yelp so seldom discuss the actual dishes in depth. So our idea is not to tell you where to eat, but what to eat. Name your favorite food and we'll tell you who we think does it best. Enjoy!

P.S. We're always looking for good contributors, so drop us an email if you want to join the fun...
